Know what stays where.
Cork7 keeps some game information in your browser and uses online services for accounts, score history and multiplayer. This page describes the current build.
Playing without an account
You can play without creating an account. Your rider name, equipment colors, audio preferences, personal best and replay saves may be stored in this browser. Clearing site data can remove these local saves.
Accounts and scores
If you create an account, Supabase handles your email address, authentication and session. Your chosen rider handle and submitted run statistics are visible through the community leaderboard and game data service. Your email address is not displayed in the leaderboard.
Completed runs can include score, duration, trick statistics, airtime, crashes and top speed. A new season resets the active leaderboard and automatic ghosts; it does not delete account history.
You can delete your account yourself in Settings, in the game and in the app: your profile, handle, runs, replays, items, POW and friends are deleted with it. Receipts for anything paid with money are kept without your name, as bookkeeping law requires.
Multiplayer and recordings
While connected to a room, other riders receive your chosen name, equipment appearance, movement and trick events. Other players can include your rider in their local replays and exported clips when you appear in their recorded session. Avoid using private information as your rider name. While you ride solo, your browser sends an anonymous once-a-minute signal so the lobby can show how many riders are out on the mountain; it carries no account, name or device information.
In multiplayer you can chat with the riders in the same room. Your account's rider name is shown with your messages. Messages are filtered for crude language, links and contact details, go only to that room and are not stored. If someone reports a rider, the room's messages from the last ten minutes are kept with the report for up to 90 days so a Cork7 moderator can review it; accounts that break the rules can be banned from multiplayer. You can mute riders, or switch chat to quick phrases only or off.
Replays stay on this device
Your latest five runs are saved automatically in your browser’s local database. Replays you explicitly save are kept separately from that rolling limit, along with your best-run ghost. Signing in on another device does not transfer them. Downloaded video clips are saved wherever you choose on your device; Cork7 does not upload or automatically publish those clips.
Browser storage is also separate for each website address. Older replays saved at the original Vercel address remain there. They do not automatically move to cork7.com.
Services used by the game
Cloudflare delivers cork7.com and runs the multiplayer relay; Supabase provides accounts and online run storage. The original website address remains hosted by Vercel. These services receive connection information needed to deliver their services, such as IP addresses and request logs.
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and page loads on cork7.com so we can see how many people play. It uses no cookies or other storage in your browser and does not identify you or follow you to other websites.
See the providers’ privacy information: Vercel, Supabase and Cloudflare.
Purchases
Items for kroner are paid for by an adult on Stripe’s payment page and sold through Link, Stripe’s payment service. Stripe receives the buyer’s email address and payment details; Cork7 never sees card details. We keep a record of each order (the item, the price, the time and the rider account it is for) for bookkeeping. POW, the game’s currency, is earned by riding and is never sold. See the terms of purchase and Stripe’s privacy policy.
Your choices
You can play solo, mute music, choose a non-identifying rider name and sign out of your account. Export any clips you want to keep before clearing browser storage. This build has no advertising and no tracking cookies; visits are only counted anonymously with Cloudflare Web Analytics, as described above.
