Terms of purchase

How buying an item in Cork7 works. Last updated 1 October 2026.

Who you buy from

Cork7 is made by Johansen & Co., a sole proprietorship registered in Norway (organisation number 835 843 742), based in Trondheim. Email: [email protected].

Purchases are sold through Link, Stripe’s payment service. Link is the seller: it takes the payment, works out the VAT, sends the receipt and handles refunds. Link’s own terms are shown on the payment page. Johansen & Co. delivers the item in the game.

What you buy

An item is gear for your rider in the game, such as a jacket, skis, poles or trousers. It changes only how the rider looks, never how well they ride.

The item belongs to the Cork7 account shown on the payment page, for as long as the game exists. It can’t be resold, traded or turned into money. POW, the game’s own currency, can’t be bought: it is only earned by riding.

Price and payment

Prices are in Norwegian kroner in Norway, in euros in the rest of Europe and in US dollars everywhere else, and include VAT or sales tax. You pay the amount on the payment page and nothing more, by card or Apple Pay on Stripe’s page. Cork7 never sees your card details.

The person who pays must be at least 18.

Delivery

The item is in the Locker as soon as the payment goes through. If it hasn’t arrived within a few minutes, email us.

Cancelling within 14 days

You can cancel a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Email [email protected] or reply to Link’s receipt: you get your money back, and the item leaves the account.

If something is wrong

If an item doesn’t work as it should, you can complain under consumer law. Email us, and we’ll fix it or refund you.

The game and your account

Cork7 is in active development, and items may get a better look over time. We never take back an item you bought, unless the purchase was refunded. If the account is deleted, its items go with it.

Privacy

We keep a record of what was bought, the price, the time and the account it was for, as bookkeeping rules require. Stripe processes the payment and the buyer’s email address. See privacy.

Complaints

Email us first. If we can’t agree, the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet) can help. Norwegian law applies.
