Terms of use

The rules for playing Cork7 and for a Cork7 account. Last updated 9 October 2026.

Who makes Cork7

Cork7 is made by Johansen & Co., a sole proprietorship registered in Norway (organisation number 835 843 742), based in Trondheim. Email: [email protected].

These terms apply to the game at cork7.com and in the Cork7 apps. By creating an account, you agree to them.

Your account

An account is free. It needs an email address, a password and a rider name. Keep your password to yourself: you answer for what is done with your account.

If you are under 13, ask a parent or guardian before you create an account.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. Its rider name, runs, items and friends are deleted with it.

Rider rules

Cork7 has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive riders. In chat, in rider names and in everything else you do in the game, never:

  • bully, harass, threaten or insult anyone
  • attack anyone for their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or where they come from
  • post sexual content, or ask anyone for it
  • share personal information, yours or anyone else’s: real names, addresses, phone numbers, schools, social media or photos
  • ask a rider to meet up, or to talk somewhere outside Cork7
  • spam, scam, advertise or post links
  • pretend to be someone else, such as another rider or Cork7
  • cheat: change the game, or use bugs or tools to get scores you didn’t ride

The chat filter stops crude language, links and contact details, but it can’t catch everything. The rules apply either way.

Mute and report

Tap a rider’s name in the chat or the rider list. Mute hides their messages from you. Report sends us their recent messages with the reason you choose. You can also set your chat to quick phrases only, or turn it off.

We review every report within 24 hours. When a rider has broken the rules, we ban the account from multiplayer, for a while or for good, rename an offensive rider name and take cheated runs off the leaderboard. Serious cases, such as threats or harm to a child, can be reported to the police.

What other riders see

Your rider name, your rider’s look, your runs and scores, and your chat messages are shown to other riders. The best runs on a leaderboard can be watched as replays. Clips you make stay on your device unless you share them yourself. See privacy for how your data is kept.

Fair runs

Every run is checked on our server before it counts. A run that wasn’t ridden by the game’s rules, for example through a bug, can be taken off the leaderboard.

The game

Cork7 is free and in active development. Parks, tricks, scoring and features change over time, and we may pause or end the game. We do our best to keep it running and fair, but we can’t promise it will always work without errors. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and if a change matters for you, we tell you in the game.
